Classes of this nature could tend to be dry, the instructor did a great job of presenting the information in an interesting manner. I took the course on line and they made sure that we had ways of communicating questions to the opresenter.

I had to come here to attend a 3 day course to get my 440 license for my job. Before coming here, all my other coworkers who had previously attended had tons of great things to say about this place. They said it would be especially great if we had Diana (who is the president of the school) as our teacher. Lucky for us, myself and my coworker who attended together got to be in her class. She really does a good job at making what could be a dry, boring experience into something actually funny and entertaining. She knows her stuff and does a great job at teaching thoroughly. Even has tons of funny stories to share. I learned a lot. Just wish we had time to ask more questions sometimes, but she kept us on a very packed schedule (although she was quite generous with allocating breaks). Two tips: bring a jacket, it s freezing I m here. And bring your own coffee if you palm on drinking anyway. The coffee they have in the break room so pretty bad. Even Diana herself warned us. Overall great experience and would recommend it to others

San Francisco Health Plan – Insurance – 7 Spring St, Financial District, San Francisco,

Coming back from an injury when it seems nothing is fair in life, the people of San Francisco makes everything easier. I moved up here without knowing what to expect but the transition was one I wasn t expecting. It s strange I have to get used to people actually helping me. Thank you SF health.

SHORT. you re screwed if you had a city MRA and did the right thing and enrolled in Covered CA (Obamacare). two stars for friendly, very sympathetic staff. LONG. staff is friendly, able to explain new Covered CA changes, and enrolled me (Thanks Kersti!); Otherwise a very frustrating and unhelpful experience. Waited weeks for an appointment, which was scheduled too late to change my Covered CA enrollment. Funds deposited by my employer in November were placed in a city general fund instead of my preexisting MRA and are not available for my Nov Dec premiums or co-pays. 2017 Benefit cut almost in half, covers premiums but not prescriptions co-pays! because I did the right thing by signing up through Covered CA. Staff very sympathetic (explained that many folks before me were upset by the changes) and offered me a printout with the DrPH, MPH phone number and email to register a complaint (evidently they were prepared to do this because of the early number of complaints). Good news is once you get an appointment the enrollment is fast, but this might change it in Jan when shit hits the fan and folks realize their employer payments are being diverted to the city general fund.

Quick to get an appointment, the people were very informative and helped me get my insurance and other paper work right after i moved back to the city.

In July 2006, SFHP partnered with the SF Department of Public Health to develop and implement Healthy San Francisco and the City Option programs. Poorly run company – sad that they are part of a Berkshire entity. Staff: Young and no knowledge – immature – there are other choices out there – no need to use these guys.

Poor customer service, they strong arm their brokers. is all about making the dollar. So when a customer doesn t get endorsements on time a it causes trouble for the customer they don t care, and they don t make it right. if you don t pay for the bad service they want to cancel you. so all you brokers if you want to give excellent service to your customers look elsewhere. remember I warned you.

Dr. Estrada was great. I went in because my vision is not what it was once was so I wanted to get an eye exam and have some questions answered. She was very informative and patient with me. I also had some questions on lasik but I was not a candidate for the surgery. The entire process was easy and harmless and all my questions were answered. The office is really new and clean as well.

The staff at California LASIK Center was amazing! They accommodated my busy schedule and answered all my questions. Dr. Schultz rocks. He personally re-checked all my measurements prior to surgery. Loving life without contacts glasses. Thank you Dr. Schultz =) Staff.

I chose this center over two other centers I got consultations at. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. Sometimes they so knowledgable, they give information a bit too quickly, but they are very receptive to answering any questions and repeating anything. The customer service was great and were responsive to phone calls. My eyes are healing well, they did a great job! Dr. Shultz was comforting during the procedure. The facility is well lit and clean. I also liked that they only offer the best technology, no messing around with the cheaper alternatives. Other places give an option for older technology for a cheaper price. The included checkups are quick. I m very happy with my eyesight!

Great doctors, amazing stuff. Very professional and attentive. Clean office, no waiting time. Thank you.

Very happy with this facility. Professional staff and very informative. I would highly recommend

The staff in the lasik department were very helpful and efficient. It was very easy to book my follow up appointments and the surgery. The doctor was very patient and confident. There is nothing better than being able to wake up and see perfect!

The lasik tech has over 20 years of experience and waited for me long after work hours to come in and get tested. He was upfront in telling me I m not a candidate, but he had put in over an hours worth of time doing a manual and a machine screening to make sure. He also gave me other advice on the procedure based on the results I d be able to achieve and I greatly appreciated his honesty and putting me as a customer first.

Fabulous place. The staff was amazing. Sammy was able to schedule me for a consultation on a day they don t do consults because of my work schedule. Christina was able to clear her schedule so she can meet with me. I was able to schedule my lasik surgery within the following week. The day of the surgery went super smooth. The staff and Dr. Shultz were amazing. I can see clearly now. Thank you California Lasik!!

So happy with my LASIK results! Amazing surgeon and staff. Definitely recommend them. Make sure to schedule a FREE consultation to see if you are a good candidate.I regret waiting all these years to do LASIK, not to mention recovery time was quick and easy! By the next day i was seeing clearly and going about my daily routine! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is interested in LASIK!

West Park Healthcare Centre – Medical Clinics – 82 Av Buttonwood, York, ON –

#

82 Av Buttonwood
York. ON M6M 2J5
(416) 243-3600

This review has to do with the physiotherapy treatments I received from the Rehab Plus clinic located within West Park Health Care Centre. About 10 years ago, I was being a boy and rough housing with some pals and fell a certain way causing a full posterior dislocation of my left shoulder (in lay-mans terms, I popped my shoulder 100% out of the socket on impact to the back before it fell down). I don t need to describe the pain I went through in the moments, days and weeks that followed. I had physio at the time to strengthen and correct the injury as best as I possibly could. Thankfully, unlike many other people who ve done the same, I ve never re-injured it. Touch wood. However, I ve I gotten older, I ve begun to suffer from chronic ongoing aches and pains in the same shoulder as well as tingling in my fingers and occasional shooting pains, equally not fun. I ended up getting a referral to West Park to have some physio done on my shoulder to see what could be done. After an $80 initial assessment I was put through weekly exercise and ultrasound treatments to help fix the scar tissue that had built up and strengthen the are. After about 10 treatments, I was happy with my progress and took to continuing my exercise at home. It s been about 4-5 months since my last session and while I still get occasional moments of discomfort, which given my injury is expected, the overall condition of my shoulder is much better than before. Pro-tip: if you re considering physio, understand that doing your assigned exercises as often as prescribed is as important as taking antibiotics as directed when you re sick. It s essential and requires as much dedication on your part. Thanks again Rehab Plus!

Nurses, WTF? Defensive and argumentative! Beware the food. Therapy team fun, friendly and compassionate, but if you have to stay for any amount of time. think twice. The nursing staff is completely apathetic to the patient s newly acquired injuries and deficits. Look elsewhere for long-term in patient care! M H

Clifton Plumbing – Heating – Plumbing – 484 Washington St, Monterey, CA – Phone

#

Great company that cares about their work. Working on my house now and would highly recommend them to anyone. Great to have a company that is honest and straight forward.

A few weeks ago my shower head was leaking. I called Clifton Plumbing. They came out. The guy was here 10 minutes and said he tightened the knobs. I was charged $95 for this. After a week the shower was still leaking. I was about ready to call another plumber when the shower knobs were getting more and more difficult to shut off. Now we cannot turn the shower off. I had to turn the water off for the entire house and wait for another plumber. It is obvious that Clifton did not take the time and care to fix this problem properly. It has cost me extra time and money. Clifton does shoddy work and would not recommend them. My new plumber (who was great) said that Clifton s plumber put in too small a washer. He fixed the knobs just enough so that they worked for a couple of weeks. He then expected me to call them and say I was still having problems with my shower leaking. However, after being charged $95 for nothing, I was too smart to call him again. Clifton Plumbing is crooked. Don t ever use them.

I needed a plumber and asked for a bid to complete the work. When the bid came it had no details of work. I needed to make sure that this company would meet code and city requirements so i asked if a couple of items would be done. I was told they were not included and would have to be added to the cost. After I stated that I expected codes to be met with all work I was told that we could not work together and I would need to find someone else . It was a total waste of my time to try and work with this company.

I made a call to clifton plumbing cause my toilets where cloged they came out an looked at toilets right away super fast service they got right on the job didnt bs me at all charged me what they told me and got it done fast they are the only plumber ill be using from here on out great job chase

First Drive: 2017 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE

Chevrolet started working on variations of the 1LE in 1988, to improve the then third-generation Camaro’s racetrack handling, for events like the Player’s Challenge Series, which ran from 1986 to 1992. Race teams had asked the folks at Chevy to improve the car, and they in turn installed larger calipers from the Caprice, and bolted on Corvette rotors and suspension components, among a few other handling-enhancing items. Thus the 1LE was born, and by 1989 it was available through Chevy dealers.

The company followed up with a 1LE package for the fourth-generation Camaro throughout the 1990s, installing Koni shocks and further enhancing its handling. The fifth-generation Camaro 1LE was introduced in 2010 and was criticized for its excessive understeer, which prompted Chevy engineers to retort two years later by introducing the highest-performance Camaro to date, the 580-hp ZL1, which borrowed parts heavily from the Corvette ZR1.

    2017 Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE

The Camaro 1LE returns for 2017, though there’s a new twist to this track-ready muscle car: For the first time since its introduction, there will be a V6-powered 1LE available alongside the traditional V8 model. The 1LE package is available with the 1LS and 2LS 3.6-litre V6 models, and with the 1SS V8 model. If you’re averse to using both feet when driving, though, you’ll be disappointed to learn that the 1LE is available only with a manual gearbox — everyone else can rejoice! The six-speed manual is operated conventionally in the V6, while the V8-powered SS incorporates no-lift shift (permits full-throttle, clutch-less gear changes) and rev-matching functions (automatic throttle blips on downshifts).

Externally there are a couple of styling cues giving away the 1LE’s enhanced handling package, including the addition of a front splitter and rear spoiler, and matte-black hood wrap, though the SS 1LE has hood vents, hinting at its more muscular powerplant beneath. The V6 and the SS roll on 20-inch wheels, though the latter uses 1.5-inch wider wheels (9.5 in. front; 11 in. rear) and also rolls on stickier Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires, as opposed to the V6’s run-flats.

The SS 1LE uses a 455-horsepower/455-lb.-ft. 6.2-litre V8, while the V6 model produces 335 hp and 284 lb.-ft. The engines in the 1LE models are identical in spec to the non-1LE cars; the differences are hidden within the undercarriage.

The V6 1LE utilizes front suspension components from the Camaro SS, with performance-tuned shocks all around. It also uses a mechanical limited-slip differential with a shorter ratio than the standard V6, and it’s equipped with four-piston Brembo calipers up front.

The SS 1LE gets its chassis components from the Camaro ZL1, including the adjustable FE4 Magnetic Ride suspension, six-piston calipers and larger discs up front, and four-piston calipers in the rear. An electronically controlled limited-slip differential is also part of its standard equipment. To keep you planted firmly due to the added grip of its wider, stickier tires, it also has form-fitting Recaro front seats.

To prolong lapping sessions, both cars are equipped with engine, transmission and differential oil coolers, and both cars have dual-mode exhaust systems. There’s a very short list of available options: The Recaro seats are an extra-cost option on the V6 1LE, and you can add a performance data recorder to either car, which records lapping info and also has an on-board camera to record your track sessions.

    RELATED

Our lapping session begins in a V6 model, though we alternate through both models throughout the day. Although we’re granted only seven laps per session, the track measures 3.8 kilometres around and has 11 turns, providing ample opportunity to tax both cars’ handling. Both cars were set to Track mode (three modes in the V6, four, including Race Mode, in the SS), which loosens up the electronic safety net enough to get sideways without going all the way around.

The V6 has a bit more understeer than the SS, partially due to its less grippy tires, but also because its suspension is a bit softer and induces a bit more body roll, though both cars feel remarkably tight through corners. Steering effort is lighter in the V6, and due to the lower terminal speeds at the end of the straights, it requires you try to carry more momentum into and through corners for quick laps. It’s also more difficult to make up lost ground if you make a mistake.

The SS, on the other hand, requires more focus to drive, as this one will sink you into the driver’s seat at corner exit. It steers quicker and responds more faithfully to driver input, and is almost completely void of understeer — if you want to push the front through corners, you have to do it deliberately, otherwise it steers exactly where it is pointed. It’s also considerably faster; the only car making the passes during the lapping sessions, almost regardless of who’s behind the wheel, is the SS. Its larger brakes are more responsive and the pedal is firmer, though both cars maintained the same brake feel from the first lap to the last.

Despite sharing platforms, the two 1LE models are completely different in character. The Camaro V6 1LE is the more affordable option, and can be regarded as more of a street car that you can take to the track. And you can easily improve on its racetrack performance by installing stickier tires. The Camaro SS 1LE is more of a track car that you can drive on the street. It’s faster, louder, and stiffer, and, of course, it has that luscious roar lacking in the V6 model.

The 1LE package adds $5,195 over the base $29,295 V6, while the SS 1LE package adds $7,495 over the SS base price of $43,200.

I had theses guys out back on Thanksgiving 2014, when my sewer backed up. I had a mess that I would not wish on anyone to clean up from sewage. My plumber recommended them. After talking to John, he had his guy here within one hour. He accessed the situation and had a clean up crew here within the hour, and when i say clean up crew. I MEAN CLEAN UP CREW, THEY GUYS WERE UNBELIEVABLE, AND DID I MENTION IT WAS ON THANKSGIVING DAY. I would give these guys more stars but five is all I am allotted. I would recommend them to anyone. THANK YOU EWR FOR HELPING ME IN MY TIME OF DISTRESS.

Horrible would be a compliment. These are scam artists at work. Promise services they don t deliver, make mistakes to cost you more money, and then at the end tag on extra hours and services to the bill that were never completed. Steer far away.

EWR was called to our house by a plumber who fixed our leaking garbage disposal because their was a lot of standing water under the kitchen sink. Bradley of EWR was quick to show up and get things moving to help clean up the leaking water under the kitchen sink. Our problem came more so after when they tried to set up AYS to finish the job and get our damanged sink cabinet restored. It never happened and there s a review on their site as well. My beef with EWR is that they say that they will help to start and ensure your job is complete with full restoration. Once they were done we got a bill and had to pay within 10 days even though our job was not completed and they said Best of Luck with getting the sink restored. Looking at the invoice, they try and charge you an exorbitant amount for equipment and set up fees that were beyond what was actually done. Their reasoning was b.s. and said it was generated by a computer program. How are you going to charge 3 hours for take down of equipment when they were here 15 mins. Better going with a different company overall than this one. They feed you so much b.s. to seal the deal then leave you hanging.

We used this company because of water damage in the basement bathroom. Emergency Water Removal was recommended by Allgood Plumbing, the company that repaired the piping damage. They showed up the same day and the insurance deductible was required prior to EWR s installation of their equipment to dry the water damage and to remove damaged insulation, wood, and etc. The water also damaged the carpet in the hallway outside of the bathroom. One of EWR s blowers failed and after notifying the project manager, they promptly replaced it. Once all was dry and the units were picked up, we noticed the area where the blower failed left a greasy spot on the carpet. I called the project manager, Stacey Zanders, on several occasions and left messages, but he didn t return any of my calls. He always responded while his equipment was in our home! I then called the 866-971-5675 number, spoke to Mike, who said he would send someone out that same day. No one showed up. The company EWR recommended to restore the damage, AYS Restoration, came to give a quote, however, they did not send that quote and will no longer respond to me. We are left with a torn apart bathroom, damaged carpet–including a spot EWR cut to take with them–and no one to repair it. I wouldn t recommend this company or the restoration company to anyone. Bad customer service and no guarantee of their work.

Holiday hours not verified. Please call to confirm this business’ hours on 29 May, Memorial Day.

    Ruff Roofers – 51 Photos – Roofing – 1420 Knecht Ave, Baltimore, MD –

I highly recommend Ruff Roofers. I had a very difficult job combining a regular shingle roof with damage to the substructure and the replacement of a large metal roof. All was handled admirably with few issues. Those few issues were addressed professionally and immediately. Ryan was fantastic to deal with. All calls were returned within minutes. These are the folks to use.

WOW! Never have I been more pleased with the professionalism, customer service, attention to detail and love for people. I ve never felt more secure or safe after having such a secure roof now. Raise the Ruff Roofers!

I used Ruff Roofers for our roofing job two years ago. They also replaced our skylights. I was so please with the work I hired them again. Recently the fascia on the front of our house was damaged in a wind storm. Called them and within a week the job was done! Great company and great people. Thank you Ruff Roofers!

I get to be the first to review? Awesome! After suffering under (quite literally) a horrible, leaky roof installed about ten years ago by a shyster-y fly-by-night roofer who spent the years of our warranty lying to us and finally not returning phone calls, we decided to bite the (expensive) bullet and hire a reputable roofer to replace the roof on our townhouse. So, the short answer is you get what you pay for. Ruff was a spectacular company to work with. Kevin, our estimator and project manager, was polite, prompt, honest, and took the time to explain EVERYTHING. We had tons of questions and were clearly roof-shy, and he was super patient with us throughout the process. Once we saw the estimate and managed to catch our breath and pick ourselves up off the floor, we signed on the contract. Now, we had a rubber membrane roof installed instead of the usual tar roof that you see on most townhouses in Baltimore. But let s be clear here: the estimate was three times more than our last roof cost, and twice as expensive as a national chain contractor. It was Not. Cheap. At. All. Really, it s a credit to Kevin and the rest of the people at Ruff that we had such a good vibe from them that we decided to pay for the right people, and get the right roof. After all, it s your house! Amirite. Anyway, the installation was just as wonderful as the estimating process. We were introduced to the job foreman and the supervisor. We were given everyone s cell numbers. They handled all the permitting and inspections, even closing the street one day. The crew arrived promptly each morning, worked the full day, and cleaned the site completely before they left. The work they did was SPECTACULAR, and if I didn t know that for myself, Kevin and the foreman walked me through every phase of the job so I could inspect the work myself, ask questions, and understand what was being done and why. There was extra repointing to be done; they showed me exactly why, and what was going to be done. Part of the sub-roof had to be replaced: again, they showed me exactly where and why. This is how a contractor should be. It was a fantastic experience start to finish. Even afterwards, Ruff has been great to work with. They rushed the invoice through their accounting department, so we had documentation for our refinancing, and then have been exceedingly patient with us as we finish up with our re-fi. I couldn t ask for better. Oh, and post-hurricane Sandy? The roof is on tight, with not even the hint of a leak.

I m sure that they do excellent work, but their estimate was significantly higher than the other estimates that we received. Very expensive. Edit: Apparently there was a mis-communication. We ended up going with Ruff Roofers. They did a great job and our roof doesn t leak anymore.

Haven t had work done yet but Emily was kind and knowledgable and said they would set up a consult right away. She assured me if it wasn t something they could help with they would connect me with a company they work closely with that would be able to do the work! Professional friendly can t wait for my estimate!

Ruff Roofers just finished my new roof today and it looks amazing. the crew cleaned up all the debris and nails from the old roof. They finished the job in less than 12 hours. I will recommend Ruff Roofers to anyone.
