50 Creative Craft Business Names
Choosing the Perfect Craft Business Name
One thing you need to think about is a craft business name. Making a crafty first impression takes a bit of creativity, right? Craft business names should scream “creative,” which shouldn’t be hard with your crafty mind, but here are a few tips to help you pick a name:
Use puns. Puns are fun in a business name and can be catchy enough to be remembered!
Use rhymes. Rhymes are also fun and very easy to remember. Using a rhyme in your business name will surely help it to stick!
Use your specialty. If you do a specific type of craft such as sewing, choose a name that reflects this to let people know just what you do!
Use your name. Artists should be known by name and so should good business owners. Don’t be shy to use your name to personalize and uniquely identify your business.
Grab a pen and paper and begin making a long list of every potential name that comes to mind, even if it’s silly or ridiculous. You are obviously going to narrow this list down later through the process of elimination, so don’t edit yourself now.
What To Name Your Craft Business?
Other Things to Consider
Once your brainstorming list is long and complete, it’s time to begin narrowing it down. The following tips may help you to shorten that list:
Is the name easy to pronounce and remember?
Is the name available on social networking sites and on art sites such as Etsy and Artfire?
Is the name already taken and protected by copyright? Check with Copyright.gov .
Once you’ve chosen a name, you’ll be able to move onto everything else you need to do to start your business. In the meantime, you can always get a head start on making your products; perhaps you’ll find inspiration in your creations!

50 Cake and Cupcake Business Names
Cupcake shops are a growing favorite for kids and adults alike! They are fun little places for a family to go together for dessert and are a nice alternative to ice cream shops.
It takes a lot of talent to run a cupcake business. Management skills, people skills, and mad baking skills are all a must!
Have your cupcake and eat it too by opening a cupcake business!
Though delicious treats displayed in the window at your business can help attract window shoppers, it will do no good for those who aren’t physically in the area. For this (and other reasons), it is necessary to have a name that leaves nothing but cupcakes to be desired.
Here’s a list of names to get you thinking:
Cupcake Shop Name Ideas
Tips for Picking a Sweet Name
Although picking through cupcake business names is a difficult task, there is no escaping it and its importance should not be dismissed. Embrace the naming process as once it’s done, it’s done. That said, take your time with it. Hopefully you will be using the business name for a long time, so you’ll want to make sure you choose something you like.
In the brainstorming process, write down as many names as you can think of, so you have as many as possible to choose from. Here are a few brainstorming tips that can help you along:
Use a name (either yours or the baker’s): Including the name of the baker or owner will help everyone know who’s boss! If your name is unusual, it will make your business that much more special.
Use your food: Everyone should know exactly what you’re serving up! In this case, it’s cupcakes. Be proud!
Location: Use your general location or street name in your business name. Even if you end up moving, where you started your business will never change!
Try using rhymes: They are catchy and will help everyone remember your name.
With cupcake businesses growing in number, competition for this type of business is getting tighter. Try to stand out from your competitors in any way you can!

50 Squeaky Cleaning Business Names
Can’t stand a mess? Does the show “Hoarders” drive you absolutely insane? Is your house always sparkling? Do you possess a collection of chemicals that would put a Walmart warehouse to shame? Then what are you doing just sitting there? You should be in business!
A cleaning service is one of the cheapest businesses to start and can have really low overhead costs, which ends up being a win-win because with your costs being low, you can pass on the low costs to your customers, too!
But to start out your business, you’ll probably have to advertise in newspapers, drop business cards at businesses and place flyers on cars.
Naming Your Business
Before you can do all of that, you’ll have to think about what you’re going to call yourself, right? Right. A few tips that should be used when thinking of cleaning company names:
Your name: You are boss, you started this, so flaunt it!
Clean name: You should have a name that has cleaning written all over it.
Be specific: If you only do residential, only do commercial, or only do new construction cleaning, this should be specified somehow in your business name.
Sound positive: People don’t want grumpy strangers in their homes, so having a friendly, happy-sounding name might help!
So, what should you look for in cleaning company names? The question you should be asking is, what do customers look for in a cleaning company? Customers want a cleaning company that is good at what they do and is happy to do it, a company that they can trust to be around their valuables when the customer isn’t there.
Here is a list of 50 examples:
Cleaning Service Name Ideas
Picking a Business Name
There you have it, a good list of cleaning company names to help you in your brainstorming. Sometimes you just can’t think clearly on your own, so in this case, try the following tips to help you with names:
Involve family and friends: Have a get together with a few of your closest people in an effort to get their opinions and suggestions for names. Not only will they be happy that you want their help, but you can have a drink or two in the process to relax!
Coin toss: Sometimes it comes down to just a couple of names and you simply cannot make a decision. In this case, you’d be happy with either name, right? Well, flip a coin!
Take a vote: If you have a few names in mind, take a vote from everyone you know, and even strangers in public (those soon-to-be customers!) and see what type of name they would go with!
Design a logo first: Sometimes people need visual cues in order to spark thoughts and ideas. If this is you, it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try!
Don’t rush the naming process if you are having mind blocks. Sometimes it helps to just get a good night’s rest and start with a clean slate in the morning! (A clean slate that’s probably cleaner than most, I assume!)
How to Start a Cleaning Business
Cesar 18 months ago
I recently moved out of home and have had a total shock at how hard howesuork can be. My mum always cleaned up after me and nagged that I was messy, I just thought she was moaning for the sake of it but I now realize how easily my mess spreads now that I’m tidying up after myself! You just don’t notice when somebody else is doing it for you. Its like the program wifeswap, the men are always so much more grateful when they get their wives back for all the work they do to keep a tidy home

Websites are a necessity for businesses of all sizes today — though, surprisingly almost half of small businesses don t have websites. Still, there are so many design options to choose from and so many websites that it can be tough to know how to stand out.
Beyond layout and color scheme, there are a lot of features that are paramount to successful small-business websites. Some are obvious — such as an easy-to-remember domain name, a logo and contact information — and others are more subtle, like an online chat button or specific pattern for the content on the site s inner pages.
